Explanatory Foreword

The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to encourage fair, ethical treatment of all persons that come under the umbrella of Sailors. The Sailor Soccer Board is now requiring the following individuals to review, understand, and abide by this Code of Conduct:

• Managers
• Coaches
• Players
• Parents/Spectators
• Referees

Unfortunately, many parents, fans and coaches don't realize that their actions, whether verbal or nonverbal, can have a lasting emotional effect on children. We at Sailor Soccer want to be sure everyone keeps our mission in mind and encourages having fun at soccer.

We are asking all managers to review this code with coaches, players and parents. Everyone reviewing and understanding this code will need to sign the appropriate form. These forms must be signed before the 1st practice of the season and failure to do so will result in the player not being able to practice/play until it has been signed. Please don't wait for the last minute to get everyone's signatures. The following Code of Conduct applies to all Sailors members and persons participating in activities and covers Players, Coaches, Team Managers, Parents and Referees.
