Smitty-Vanderplow complex update Print E-mail

Three fields are now open and being used at the Porter Road complex. We have a regulation "U13 and up" field which measures 120 yards x 70 yards and two regulation U11/U12 fields which measure 70 yards x 50 yards each.

All fields have irrigation and the full size field is lighted. All three are fenced to control access from the parking areas.

Parking has been improved in the north lot by the full size field. Parking improvements for the U11/12 parking lot on the east side between the softball and soccer fields are planned for November of 2008.
 

Welcome to Sailor Soccer!

The Sailor Soccer Club proudly provides opportunities for area youth to play soccer regardless of their skill level or playing experience. On the recreational level, we field teams from U6 through U19 in boys, girls and co-ed divisions as part of the Great Lakes Co-Ed Soccer League (GLCSL). The Sailor Select travel teams are comprised of more experienced players and engage on a competitive level as part of the Grand Valley Soccer Association (GVSA). Players interested in playing on Select teams must participate in a tryout or evaluation, after which the teams are selected by the Sailor Soccer Club selection staff.
