  • Work issues up the ladder: Team parent to team parent director to board, OR coach to coaching director to board.
  • Handle issues with patience, grace, respect. We're volunteers.
  • Bring us solutions, not just problems.
  • Volunteer to make this club better.
  • Do's: Expect a lot from us, hold us accountable on our promises.
  • Don'ts: POACH, politic, conspire, gossip, bad-mouth the Sailor Soccer Club.
  • We will discipline kids/parents/coaches for code violations.
 

Welcome to Sailor Soccer!

The Sailor Soccer Club proudly provides opportunities for area youth to play soccer regardless of their skill level or playing experience. On the recreational level, we field teams from U6 through U19 in boys, girls and co-ed divisions as part of the Great Lakes Co-Ed Soccer League (GLCSL). The Sailor Select travel teams are comprised of more experienced players and engage on a competitive level as part of the Grand Valley Soccer Association (GVSA). Players interested in playing on Select teams must participate in a tryout or evaluation, after which the teams are selected by the Sailor Soccer Club selection staff. Mission Statement

It is the mission of this club to foster the physical, mental and emotional growth and development of area youth through the sport of soccer at the recreational and select levels. This club is established as a non-profit and educational organization. This club shall provide a means to communicate information to players, coaches, referees, and any other interested parties.
