Coach Evaluation PDF Print E-mail

During the remaining few weeks of Sailor rec and select soccer, evaluation forms will be distributed to all of the Sailor soccer families. Please take a moment and complete the questionnaire regarding your child/ren's coach performance. Keep in mind that your coach is a parent volunteer and has stepped up to the challenge of teaching your kids the fundamentals of youth soccer. Also, keep in mind that your child/ren's coach is either coaching a rec team or a select team.

The coach evaluation is meant to be a teaching tool. If the coach has an area of some weakness, the board, as well as the coaching director, needs to know this so that the coach can get some further direction. On the other hand, if the coach seems to be stellar in teaching soccer to your kids, then he/she should be acknowledged accordingly.

Please submit your comments in order to help the Sailor Soccer Club to move on to a higher level of soccer enrichment for your kids.

Welcome to Sailor Soccer!

The Sailor Soccer Club proudly provides opportunities for area youth to play soccer regardless of their skill level or playing experience. On the recreational level, we field teams from U6 through U19 in boys, girls and co-ed divisions as part of the Great Lakes Co-Ed Soccer League (GLCSL). The Sailor Select travel teams are comprised of more experienced players and engage on a competitive level as part of the Grand Valley Soccer Association (GVSA). Players interested in playing on Select teams must participate in a tryout or evaluation, after which the teams are selected by the Sailor Soccer Club selection staff. This club is established as a non-profit and educational organization. This club shall provide a means to communicate information to players, coaches, referees, and any other interested parties.
