Goals of the Camp

The ages of seven to fourteen are “The Golden Age of Learning”. Young players should be exposed to the most expert coaches available - coaches who are able to improve and motivate players. Individual Skill improvement is the foundation that all other parts of the game can be built on and that is what the Sailors Program focuses on.

The camp basic philosophy is simple: we are committed to providing the best possible soccer experience for the boys and girls who are placed under our supervision. To us it is a question of maximization: that is, we maximize both learning and enjoyment. We will work tremendously hard to provide an environment where improvement in the kid’s self-concept as well as improvement in soccer skill is accomplished.

Welcome to Sailor Soccer!

The Sailor Soccer Club proudly provides opportunities for area youth to play soccer regardless of their skill level or playing experience. On the recreational level, we field teams from U6 through U19 in boys, girls and co-ed divisions as part of the Great Lakes Co-Ed Soccer League (GLCSL). The Sailor Select travel teams are comprised of more experienced players and engage on a competitive level as part of the Grand Valley Soccer Association (GVSA). Players interested in playing on Select teams must participate in a tryout or evaluation, after which the teams are selected by the Sailor Soccer Club selection staff. Please take a look around the site...and by all means, contact us if you have any questions.

Mission Statement

It is the mission of this club to foster the physical, mental and emotional growth and development of area youth through the sport of soccer at the recreational and select levels. This club is established as a non-profit and educational organization. This club shall provide a means to communicate information to players, coaches, referees, and any other interested parties.
